Played the game for only a short time. I don't see anything on the series that was based off the game and if any, it's very minor.
Just finished watching the series. The story builds up really well with the introduction of the main characters and supporting ones, their inter-connections and also the magical monsters along the way.
it's very enjoyable and will be waiting in anticipation for the next. Good stuff.

Penny Dreadful is a Must-Watch and Collect same with Franklyn which is very off beat sci-fi/dreamscape.
I just think a lot of DC heroes are just way too other-worldly and serious that's why movie goers can not connect or relate to, also they need to hire better scriptwriters' that can tell a convincing back story or history with some of their heroes ( Aquaman - it's like he just turned up and that's it, The Flash - there's a disconnect with the TV series and the movie, Green Lantern - well that was so badly written ).
DC story-telling also lacks charisma and humour...
It kind of looks like an old 70's Dodge Challenger with the engine moved at the back end and given the full hog of mods.
